The streaming giant’s rolling out a feature called “Fast Laughs” that provides a feed of comedic clips from Netflix’s catalog of films, shows, and stand-up specials as it enters the fight against TikTok, alongside multiple social media and digital platforms.
It’s currently only available on the iOS version of its app in select countries, where it’s accessible from the bottom navigation menu on its own tab, next to “Coming Soon.”

The vertical videos can be watched in full screen mode and, taking inspiration from TikTok, viewers can swipe through as well as react to with a “LOL” emoji or share it via iMessage as well as WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat or Twitter.
Although Netflix has stated that videos don’t have any specific lengths, it seems that the clips could range between 15 to 45 seconds long.
Users can also start watching the show immediately or save it for later viewing by adding it to “My List.”
It’ll be interesting to see if Netflix rolls this out to Android users later in the year and if the streaming giant will keep it as a permanent platform.
