Like the majority of people, I’ve taken steps to start self-isolating as a precaution against the Coronavirus. It was fun at first, spending most of the time binge-watching Netflix shows that I’d been meaning to catch up on for months but I started getting antsy after a few days.
While “spring cleaning” my home as a way to pass the time, I stumbled upon a stack of writing maps that I’d thrown in a drawer months ago after promising myself that I’d start writing properly again.

As I opened each map, I began feeling inspired again and before I knew it, my pen was scribbling furiously across the pages of my notebook. I wrote so intensely that my hand cramped several times and by the time I finished writing the first prompt, I had filled several pages effortlessly.
I can’t remember the last time I had felt so creative – or so happy. I’ve decided to dedicate at least an hour a day to completing each prompt. I might also upload them here…or at least the ones that aren’t too bad.
So if you’re looking for a fun way to distract yourself from the fires of doom outside your window then grab a map and chart a new adventure!
